Custom Lots For Sale in Frisco, TX

Most people looking for a custom lot would like 1/2 to 1 or more acres, and they would like to be able to pick their own builder.  That’s really hard to come by in Frisco.  Some of the most popular neighborhoods still have a few lots left though.  Starwood has one for sale by one of DFW’s top builders.  For that lot and home combined, expect your starting price to be low to mid $3 million range for at least 7,000 sf.  There are a couple others as well.  As a general rule, the lots in Starwood will be around $800,000, and they aren’t really willing to negotiate price.

There are a couple 2 acre lots for sale in Stonebriar of Frisco.  They are asking $1.35M and $1.5M for those lots.  The location and views are amazing.

A little secret, you can get into the Frisco School District by purchasing a 1 acre lot in Craig Ranch in McKinney for only $350,000 to $550,000.  This is by far the best deal for an acre.  It’s a gated community right on the PGA Golf Course.

Another option is one of the three lots left in Kings Lake in McKinney (McKinney Schools).  They are all very

different in size and cost.  The 1.1 acre lot is $750,000 and well worth it.  I took this picture on July 20th, 2015.  It’s on a lake overlooking Adriatica, modeled after a Croatian Village.

Back to Frisco, you can get more amazing views in The Hills of Kingswood too.  It’s Lewisville ISD.  1/2 to 1+ acre lots ranging from $375,000 to $750,000.

If you don’t have to have a huge lot or back yard, there are many more options for you.  I would start in Newman Village in Frisco.  It’s also a newer neighborhood, but they brought in semi-mature trees, and it’s absolutely beautiful.  They also have all kinds of fun events for the family.

Every one of these neighborhoods in gated.  Keep in mind when making your decision that the Frisco tax rate is around 2.2 and the McKinney tax rate is around 2.5.
